SYSA PROTOCOLS AND SAFETY GUIDELINES have been established in accordance with federal, state, local and school district guidelines to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19 to players, spectators and volunteers on the fields during soccer games.

ADHERENCE TO THESE SAFETY GUIDELINES IS REQUIRED AND WILL BE MONITORED.

1. Mask/face covering must be worn by all players, spectators and volunteers while entering and leaving fields on game day.
2. ONLY ONE (1) ADULT/PLAYER ALLOWED ON THE FIELD TO WATCH THE GAME, to minimize the number of contacts with unknown people and potential spread of the virus among crowds of people/players. A different adult may come to each game so family members may rotate each week.
3. All
players, spectators and volunteers will be screened upon arrival to the playing field for each game. This includes...
  a. temperature taken with non-contact thermometer
  b. screening questions about personal contact with those with or suspected of having COVID-19
  c. questions about travel within the previous 14 days
4. Players will remove masks while playing but must wear them on the sidelines while waiting to play.
5. Players and spectators must maintain a 6' distance from those who are not members of their family
6. Player will bring hand sanitizer to each game and use it upon exiting the field of play.
7. NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT OR WATER BOTTLES - each player must bring their own.
